Qi | Carla Velazquez Ortega

Qi is a kinetic, decorative and interactive art toy that is part of the Equilibrio collection presented by La Tlapalería, a design collective.

Materials: Handcrafted solid brass bar, treated and enameled; steel; paint finished wood; and polished marble. The piece is assembling and disassembling.

Desk base or bracket can be selected, and they can be with marble or without marble. The finish can be natural wood or have an automotive finish.

Dimensions: 40 x 0.5 x 24 cm

Qi manufacturing is done in collaboration with local craftsmen and masters: the brass shaft is made by master goldsmith García, and the marble by master Rafael Rosales. 

The product includes:

• Packaging with instructions for assembly, use and care
• Main piece in treated and enamelled brass
• Treated and enamelled brass nuts
• Bolt-on weights finished in white
• decorative centerpieces
• Base piece (wall bracket or desk stand)
